Questionnaire: Defining the readiness of a young person with disabilities to start cooperation with the job crafter

As part of the NEETcraft Initiative: Innovations for Empowering Youth with Disabilities, our team has developed a special Readiness Assessment Questionnaire. This tool helps to evaluate whether young people with disabilities are prepared to take part in the job crafting process.

It focuses on motivation, independence, social skills, and readiness for professional change.

The questionnaire is based on Fundacja Aktywizacja’s long-term experience in professional activation of people with disabilities, while also reflecting the specific needs of young NEETs. It is simple and transparent, providing results that clearly show a candidate’s readiness level. Depending on the score, participants may be classified as highly ready, moderately ready, or in need of additional preparation.

The tool is designed not only to support recruitment into the project, but also to guide further support activities. It ensures that job crafters can offer tailored assistance to each participant, helping them to explore career paths, build confidence, and enter the labour market.

The questionnaire was created by the team from Fundacja Aktywizacja (Anna Gruszczyńska, Karolina Sielecka, Agnieszka Jaśkiewicz-Kłosowska) in consultation with the European Rural Youth Observatory EURYO (Antonella Rocca, Tatiana Ferreira).

Organisations wishing to use the questionnaire may adapt it to their needs and to the specific characteristics of the target group they work with.
