NEVI-EVY Job Crafting Model (Online Workshop Materials)
Young people with disabilities remain one of the groups most at
risk of exclusion from the labour market in the European Union. Although EU
policy increasingly emphasizes inclusion and equal opportunities, Eurostat and
European Commission data indicate persisting deep inequalities in many areas of
socio-professional functioning within the group of persons with disabilities.
Young people with disabilities aged 15–29 who experience long-term health
limitations are more likely than their peers without disabilities to remain
outside of employment, education, and vocational training, thus falling into
the so-called NEET category (not in employment, education, or training).
The NEETcraft Initiative: Innovations for Empowering Youth with Disabilities
project addresses this challenge by introducing an innovative job crafting model. This approach is
based on the support of job crafters – specialists who accompany young
persons with disabilities not only during the recruitment stage but also
throughout their employment, ensuring that work is adapted to their individual
needs and capacities.
The publication developed within the project presents:
· the conceptual foundations and theoretical background of the job crafting process,
· recommendations derived from an ex-ante analysis,
· a detailed description of the model, along with practical documentation for organisations and professionals interested in applying job crafting in their practice.
