A new ex-ante Analysis Report by Fundacja Aktywizacja, part of the NEVI-EVY initiative, reveals alarming employment barriers faced by young people with disabilities in Poland.<\/p>\n

While 51.3% of people with disabilities<\/strong> are employed across the EU, only 43% in Poland<\/strong> have jobs. Among young adults, 51% are NEETs<\/strong> (Not in Employment, Education or Training)\u2014the highest rate in Europe.<\/p>\n

The study, based on surveys and interviews with over 2,000 participants, finds that:<\/p>\n

Young people are motivated to work<\/strong>, eager to develop new skills<\/strong>, and often more satisfied with their income<\/strong> than older peers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
\n
Mental health conditions<\/strong> significantly reduce job retention.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Rural youth<\/strong> face similar job conditions but report lower job satisfaction<\/strong>, despite valuing employment for independence and social inclusion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The report underscores the vital role of Job Crafters<\/strong>\u2014specialists who guide young people through the job market and help employers create inclusive environments.<\/p>\n
\u201cJob Crafters make the difference between job searching and job success,\u201d<\/strong> the report notes, calling for expanded mentoring, tailored training, and employer support.<\/p>\n
